The
Symposium on Challenges in Novel Separation and Purification, is
initiated by the Chemical and Process Engineering Centre (CPEC).
The objective is to foster closer ties between researchers in China
and Singapore and to encourage the exchange of knowledge and information
particularly in the area of separation and purification. The symposium is aimed to provide a forum for scientists, engineers and industrialists to discuss views, trends, exchange knowledge, and most importantly, establish contacts as we march into the next millennium to further develop the chemical industries in China and Singapore. The event will take place from 29 to 30 October 2001 in Singapore. It is organized by the Chemical and Process Engineering Centre (CPEC) of the National University of Singapore (NUS). |
