Our Functions

As a R&D Entity, we train R&D manpower (Research scientist/ engineer, PhD) to sustain the growth of the industries and also aim to create technology innovation and develop long term research capabilities, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the industries.

As an Industrial Consortium, we serve as a technical platform for multi-party dialogue (chemical, process engineering companies and government agencies) to track technology trends, gather feedback on common industrial problems/ solutions and also, to explore new R&D directions.

As a Resource Centre, we serve to disseminate technology information relevant to the chemical and process industries and aim to provide resources necessary for technology innovation and development, eg training courses, lab- and pilot-scale facilities.
